It’s often said but always worth repeating: the key to social media success is to be a human being.
Such was the sentiment on Thursday during a panel of social media experts put together by the George Herbert Walker School of Business & Technology at Webster University. The panel offered some great insights on how to connect with an audience, how to adequately measure social media success, and how to handle trolls.
The panel included: Chris Reimer, Owner of Rizzo Tees and Chief Marketing Officer for the Scorch Agency; Kathleen Manning, Media Specialist for Monsanto; Amber Talbot, Social Media Marketing Supervisor at Scottrade; and Dave Collett, Senior Vice President and Global Client Relationship Leader, Weber Shandwick. Dr. Benjamin Akande moderated the event.
