Webster University hired me out of the newspaper industry in 2005 to be a writer, although those plans quickly changed. The marketing department soon assumed control of the university website and needed warm bodies to help convert the mid-90s behemoth into a new content management system. I was one of the few who volunteered.
So I’ve spent the past years learning the finer points of website design and development; implementing best practices; and, generally, having a blast. It’s an exciting time to be in the web business, an ever-changing world with no mercy for those unwilling to adapt.
I’m willing to change and share what I learn — hence this blog. Copy, comment, post and enjoy.
